Bangalore, Thursday, February 02, 2012: MSO Annual Sports Meet South Zone is held every year and this year Mara Students’ Organisation, Chennai will organize an annual sports meet. The annual sports meet will shape a better future for sports enthusiasts. The sports meet is being organized to inspire sports capabilities among Mara Students besides helping promote unity and friendliness.

In the year 2010, Bangalore MSO organized MSO Annual Sports Meet at Shanthi Nagar Football Playground, Bangalore on October 15 – 16, 2010. Puhpa F.C Rehmo, Ex-EM, MADC was the chief guest who inaugurated the sports meet on Friday, October 15, 2010.

1. Men's Football Winner – Hly-a Group (Bangalore MSO)

3. Men's Volleyball Winner – Chennai MSO

4. Men's Volleyball Runner-up – Hlichhy Group (Bangalore MSO)

5. Women's Volleyball Winner – Hyderabad MSO

6. Women's Volleyball Runner-up – Hlichhy Group (Bangalore MSO).

Fire broke out in Siaha (Saiha) Subzi Bazaar area on Wednesday night, February 01, 2012 at about 10:50Pm. Neighbours and firefighters tried to help douse the fire but they did not manage to douse the fire. Around 24 houses, with all their belongings were burnt and badly damaged.
