LFO singer, Rich Cronin, passed way on Wednesday. He was suffering from Leukemia, a cancer of blood or bone marrow.

35 years old Rich Cronin, who was a singer with Boy Band was famous for his years with the group LFO. Two weeks before he celebrated his 35th birthday.

Rich Cronin was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005 and following chemotherapy treatments, the disease returned in 2007 and again in 2008.
He started the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to raise awareness about the disease and educate the public about donating blood and bone marrow.

He wrote and sang the number one single "Summer Girls."
His friends paid condolence and tribute to him online.

Other celebrities who died of chemotherapy are; Patrick Swayze died after receiving chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer. Peter Jennings died after chemotherapy treatments for lung cancer; Tony Snow died after chemotherapy treatments for colon cancer.

The most awaited film, Dabbang, starring Salman Khan will release tomorrow on September 10, on the eve of Eid.
