In an unfortunate incident, popular south Indian playback singer Chitra's daughter Nandana, died after she drowned in the swimming pool in UAE. Eight year-old Nandana accidentally fell in to the pool, when her mother Chitra was in the bathroom.

Reports have said that the singer was preparing to leave for the rehearsals for a big concert in Dubai. Chitra had left Nandana in the bedroom after giving her a bath. Later when Chitra came out of the bathroom, she couldn't find her in the room and later found her outside in the swimming pool.

However, the child was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. Nandana was like a God’s gift for the singer, who was born after 15 long years of her marriage with Vijayshankar. The singer had named her child after she sang a devotional song for the hit movie 'Nandanam'.

The unfortunate news spread like wild fire to all the fans of the singer, who were equally upset over the news. Thousands of condolence messages poured in from her fans and all the celebrities from the film fraternity. The body of the child was brought back to Chennai in a flight at 09:30 pm. Chitra was supposed to perform in a major concert in Dubai.

Seems like the hot Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu is getting on well after getting separated from beau John Abraham. The actress was recently spotted with her co-star Josh Harnett in Orchha in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. Bipasha and Josh are currently shooting for their upcoming flick Singularity.

Bipasha and Josh were recently seen together in the hotel by a photographer, who had caught them in casuals, while they were walking a path in their hotel compound. Bips was seen in a pair of hot pants with a spaghetti camisole and josh was dressed in casual shorts and t-shirt.

The two looked very comfortable in each other's company and were seen walking inside the hotel premises. The 'Jism' actress did not seem like she was uncomfortable and was wearing a pleasant smile on her face. The smile came may be due to the pleasant company she had.

The two are reportedly staying in the same hotel and Josh's room is just opposite to the diva's room. After having a cozy lunch together, the two then proceeded towards their shooting venue. Singularity is an epic romance, which has Bipasha as a Maratha warrior, while Josh plays the role of a British officer, who falls in love with Maratha warrior.
