Bollywood actress Vidya Balan – who is currently preparing herself for the role of Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor's “Dirty Picture” – was recently taken aback when the sketches of her costume in the film were revealed to her. The actress however knew that she has to go that extra mileage to play the role, but was speechless upon seeing the sketches.

Vidya is told to wear revealing pants and tops with low necks and petticoats without the sari. Moreover, the actress was told that she has to wear them after she puts on some extra kilos of weight especially on her thighs.

The “Parinneta” actress has been asked to put on some weight so as to portray the role in a proper sense. Now the actress has told Luthria, who will be taking care of the outfits of the actress in the movie, to prepare the outfits at least 30 days before the shoot starts so that she could wear them and get used to them.

Talking to Ekta over Vidya's look, she said that the actress would be carrying two looks in the movie. One is the thin look and another is the chubby look. On the other hand, Luthria added that Vidya for the role, needs to prepare herself. She needs to get bolder in terms of her performance as well as her physicality.

A new fiction show 'Navya', has been launched on the Indian channel Star Plus on Monday. According to a consulting firm Ormax Media, though the show may receive an average opening, depending on the content of the show, the TVR can rise up to 10 to 15 percent.

'Navya' has started its episodes from Monday and will be telecasted from Monday to Friday at 10 pm. The show has replaced the daily soap, 'Tere Liye' and is co-produced by Vivek Bahl and Swastik Pictures.

The prediction was made on the basis of the data collected in the past two years. The data was based on the running of the fiction shows on television. The consulting firm has also taken the marketing rave created by the show as well as the performance of the slot.

'Navya' is a love story about a simple girl, whose life changes after her marriage. Navya is a girl, who hails from a middle class family. The entire cast of the show has new comers. The lead role is played by Soumya Seth, while Saheer Sheikh is paired opposite Soumya.

VJ Bani, who is now a popular face of MTV, was recently spotted with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in Mumbai, India. The two were seen enjoying some great food together at a restaurant in Bandra area.

Shahid may have indeed patched up with actress Priyanka Chopra, but the fact has been confirmed now that the actor isn't in any committed relationship. When asked Bani, she had confirmed the news and said that she and Shahid go to the same gym and often indulge in work out sessions together.

The MTV VJ added that the two felt hungry and decided to eat something together that day. An eye witness, who had seen the two together had said that Shahid and Bani seemed like they were fast friends and had a great time chatting and joking over the food and drinks. For now it would be unfair with Bani and Shahid, if it would be said that there is something fishy brewing between the two.

Bani shot to fame after participating in the popular reality show Roadies on MTV. Bani is among those who instantly rolls themselves in to the VJ career after participating in reality shows. Ranvijay Singh, Siddharth and Ayushman too had taken their short cuts through reality shows.
