American comedian and actor Jerry Lewis had cancelled his Sydney tour — which was already sold out. The veteran comedian had fallen ill due to exhaustion while he was preparing for his performance on stage in Sydney in Australia.

The promoters had announced the cancellation of his tour. On Friday night, Lewis was supposed to perform in western Sydney to raise money for the muscular dystrophy. The event was cancelled at the last minute as the 85-year-old had fallen ill.

For the moment, the remaining tour has been postponed to Thursday so that he gets ample time to recover. The comedian will be returning to the stage in case his health permits.

David Jack, the head of the Australia's Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, has said that the actor is very disappointed for his fans as he could not perform. Jack added that the long journey from the US and the busy schedule for his national tour had taken a toll on his health. Lewis was not hospitalized, but was visited by a doctor after which he felt better. According to the staff of the place where the actor was supposed to perform, the actor was not even able to come out of his car and had looked very unwell.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is the lucky one to bag the much sought after role in the upcoming movie 'Dhoom 3'. After enough search and consideration of the actresses for the female lead in the movie, Katrina was the lucky one to bag the role.

Earlier, A-list actresses like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also considered for the role. Kat will be starring opposite Aamir Khan in the movie, which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.

The earlier installments of the 'Dhoom' series were wooed by actresses Bipasha Basu, Aishwarya Rai and Esha Deol. All the actresses for the movie had gone through a major makeover and had dazzled the silver screens with their oomph.

It is all up to Aditya Chopra to convince the actress to shed her inhibitions and wear a bikini. Sources from the production team have said that the actress might have to go through a major makeover for the movie. Katrina indeed has a great body, but Kat will have to go through a special training and will have to also tone up her body to suit the role.

Katrina has just finished shooting for the movie 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. The actress will also have to start the shooting for the movie 'Ek Tha Tiger'with Salman Khan.

After the happy news of Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy, questions have been raised about the upcoming projects that the actress is supposed to fulfill with the film makers. Ash, who was supposed to star opposite husband Abhishek Bachchan will reportedly be  replaced by Preity Zinta.

Ash and Abhishek were supposed to star together in the upcoming movie of Raj Kumar Santoshi's romantic comedy movie 'Ladies and Gentlemen'. Santoshi, while talking about the movie, had said that the fact that Abhi and Ash are going to become parents, is more important than the movie.

The film maker even added that the role that was supposed to be played by Aishwarya in the movie, and no longer suits her now. In the movie, Abhishek plays the role of a Casanova and Preity will be playing the role of a girl who ultimately becomes the love interest of Abhishek.

Sources from the production team have informed that Abhishek and Preity are close friends for a while now. The 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' actress has been called in to play the role which was supposed to be played by Ash. Earlier, even actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were considered for the role. Santoshi has already planned for the movie that will suit Aishwarya. The director said that the project is a special one and that he had written it specially for her.
