| Kareena Kapoor to be waxed at Madame Tussauds Posted: 15 Jun 2011 05:21 AM PDT Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will be the next actress to be waxed in the popular museum Madame Tussauds. The 'Tashan' actress will be joining the list of the celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Kareena's stature will be unveiled in the month of September 2011 at the new Madame Tussauds museum in UK. The stature will be touring in the other museums in US , Asia, Europe and Bangkok in the month of January. Later the stature will also be travelling through Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna and will finally land in London. But the actress had almost lost the deal for the statue as she wasn't getting any time to catch up with the team of the museum for the measurements. Kareena is these days overloaded with work and is working on four films at a time, 'Ra.One' with Sharukha Khan, Body Guard with Salman Khan, Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan and Short Term Shaadi with Imran Khan. The actress then got to met the team in London while she had come to see Saif, who is working on his home production 'Cocktail'. There was even a point when the event managing company Wizcraft had suggested to consider other actresses like Rani Mukherji, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif. You might also like : |

Actress Shweta Bhardwaj, who had entered the film industry with the movie 'Mission Istaanbul', is returning to the silver screens. Bhardwaj was away from showbiz for almost two years after her first movie was released. Even 'Mission Istaanbul' had tanked at the box office, which made her go unnoticed. While talking about the reason she was away from the movies, the actress explained that she was quite young while she did her first movie and wanted to complete her studies before she started working full time. Now the actress is back with a bang is awaiting four of her movies to be released this year. Another element that is helping the actress to be a hot item for the industry, is the popular celebrity manager Prakash Jaju. Jaju had once worked for actress Priyanka Chopra. The manager is now determined to make Shweta to be counted among the best actresses of Bollywood. | Vidya Balan leaves with red rashes and blotches from sets of ‘Dirty Picture’ Posted: 14 Jun 2011 11:28 PM PDT Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who is shooting for her upcoming movie 'Dirty Picture', recently had a bad experience with a bath tub scene. The actress was supposed to shoot for a simple shot while she had to be in a soapy bath tub. As soon as the actress immersed herself in a bath tub full of water and soap, within no time the actress developed red rashes and all over her body. Vidya was shocked to notice the bad rashes and had immediately abandoned the shooting and rushed to a good dermatologist. Director Milan Luthria had said that enough precautions were taken for the shoot, by using mineral water that was to be used to the bath tub scene. According to the crew that was present at the location, as soon as the actress immersed herself in the tub, the actress started to feel that her skin was getting rough, but she ignored it. However, soon red rashes and blotches had developed all over her body. Poor Vidya suffered from an allergy and had no choice than to rush to a doctor. Crew members had said that the allergy could have developed as the bath tub was hand painted, while the doctor had opined that it was due to the high alkali content in the soap.
