Certain reports had surfaced in the past couple of days that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead role in the much awaited movie 'Dhoom 3'. According to the reports, Katrina was cast opposite Aamir Khan, but the fact is that the 'Singh Is King' actress is not a part of the movie.

The Yash Raj banner, who will be producing the movie, have denied the news and are even upset about the false reporting. A spokesperson from Yash Raj films had said that the correspondents did not even feel like confirming the news before publishing it.

The spokesperson added that the actress is currently busy preparing for the shooting of her upcoming movie 'Ek Tha Tiger' along with Salman Khan. It was also cleared that the female lead in the movie is yet to be finalized and that the makers are in search of a new face to be cast opposite Aamir, who will be seen playing the negative role in the movie.

The earlier installments of the 'Dhoom' series had John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles. While Bipasha Basu, Aishwarya Rai had played the female lead roles in the movies.

Bollywood remembers the great musician RD Burman on his birthday today. Some of the great works by the musician are still remembered by his fans as well as veterans in the film industry.

Burman, also known as Panchamda, gave in to music for 33 long years. Some of his landmark works like 'Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja' from the movie 'Caravan', 'Raat Kali' from the movie 'Buddha Mil Gaya', Dum Maaro Dum' from the movie 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' and 'Raina Beeti Jaye' from the movie 'Amar Prem' are still remembered by people.

Panchamda started with the movie 'Chote Nawab' in the year 1961. Veteran actress Hema Malini, while talking about Burman, said that in those days she could get many chances to interact with the director but still enjoys the compositions done by him.

Malini added that 'Mehbooba' from the movie 'Sholay' was one of the best compositions he had done. Actor and producer Aamir Khan too remembered the days when his father, late Tahir Hussain had worked with him and that even Aamir had got a chance as he had worked as his father's assistant.

The shooting of the much awaited movie 'Heroine' by Madhur Bhandarkar has already started. After the announcement of the pregnancy of the lead lady in the movie Aishwarya Rai, the director is now worried about the actress' health.

Sources from the production unit have said that the script of the movie is very dark and has several intense moments which has to be portrayed by the actress. Ash in the movie is also supposed to do several intimate scenes, which would be tough for her.

The actress might not refrain from doing the scenes, but the director is now worried that the emotional and the intense sequences should not affect her pregnancy. Ash's character in the movie is supposed to project failure.

The makers of the movie are now making attempts to lighten the intensity of the movie. At the same time the shooting schedules have also become heavy so as to finish, before the pregnancy of Ash becomes visible. Ash seems determined to complete the project, but with the shooting expected to take a few months, Bhandarkar would either have to shoot the movie fast or probably postpone it.
