Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will soon be seen playing the lead role opposite Rajnikanth in the upcoming movie 'Kochadaiyaan'. The makers of the movie for a long time were looking for a female lead role.

It has now been officially confirmed that Deepika will be starring in the lead female role. The film will be made in 3D and will be directed by Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya and will be written by K.S Ravi Kumar.

Earlier the 'Om Shanti Om' actress was roped in for the lead role opposite the mega south star in the movie 'Rana'. Rajni shot for a few scenes in the movie but then he fell ill took a break to recover.

Some of the earlier reports said that actress Katrina Kaif was supposed to star in the movie. But the PRO of the production house later denied the news. For the time being the movie 'Rana' has been shelved and Rajni has taken up the project 'Kochadaiyaan.

Beti B might still not have an official name, but she sure is already going places. On Sunday Feb5, 2012, Beti B joined papa Abhishek and mama Aishwarya on her first vacation to Goa. Ever since Beti B was born, Abhi has not had time to spend with family much due to professional commitments. While Aishwarya has been holding the forte at home alone so far, so director and personal friend Rohit Shetty decided to give papa Abhishek a break and wounded up shooting of Bol Bachchan to let the actor have some quality family time. The occasion is special more so because it happens to be Abhi's birthday as well on Monday Fe 6,2012.

The family is expected to stay in Goa for two days only and this is the third serious outing for even Aishwarya who has only been out of Jalsa since the birth of Beti B for either Oprah Winfrey's visit to India or the wedding reception of Ritesh and Genelia a few days back.

(Japanese anime movie “Castle in the Sky” set the record for most tweets per second in December: 25,088)”.

Popular and controversy friendly Pakistani actress Veena Malik has recently claimed that signed a British film. Now it seems like the actress is all set to grab attention in the country as well as in the international platform.

Malik is yet to make her Bollywood debut and is already seeking projects in international cinema. The actress says that she has signed a British film in which she has a powerful role.

Malik also said that she is getting offers from across the globe and recently a UK film team was in Dubai where she was short listing a few offers that would suit her. Veena also said that she cannot talk more about the project at the moment.

Indian film makers are criticising Veena for falling behind schedule, but the actress promises that she will honour all her commitments. Film maker Hemant Madhurkar said that Veena has 11 crores riding on her as she is yet to shoot for the climax of the thriller movie 'Mumbai 125 Kms'.
